{"id":18654,"date":"2024-09-04T07:50:22","date_gmt":"2024-09-04T07:50:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/idibe.umh.es\/?p=18654"},"modified":"2024-09-04T07:51:30","modified_gmt":"2024-09-04T07:51:30","slug":"asistencia-al-congreso-internacional-de-acuicultura-aqua-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/idibe.umh.es\/en\/2024\/09\/04\/asistencia-al-congreso-internacional-de-acuicultura-aqua-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Attendance at the International Aquaculture Congress, AQUA 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week, the antiviral strategies in aquaculture group of IDiBE, led by Dr. Mar\u00eda del Mar Ortega-Villaiz\u00e1n and her team (Dr. Ver\u00f3nica Chico, Mar\u00eda Salvador, Celia Garc\u00eda, Yeray Cerpa and Adri\u00e1n L\u00f3pez) have attended the International Aquaculture Congress, AQUA 2024 (26-30 August), held in Copenhagen (Denmark).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-18624 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/idibe.umh.es\/files\/2024\/09\/IMG_9706-300x225.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In this congress, the group has contributed with its work carried out in the laboratory related to its research on vaccines and antiviral therapeutics in aquaculture through 5 oral presentations and 2 posters. The AQUA 2024 Congress, organised by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aquaeas.eu\/\">European Aquaculture Society<\/a> (EAS) and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.was.org\/\">World Aquaculture Society<\/a> (WAS), whose main theme this year focused on \u2018Blue Food, Green Solutions\u2019 provided a valuable platform to discuss new and novel ideas to address current challenges in aquaculture and to identify strategies to implement and expand already validated concepts and solutions in this field. The event included scientific conferences, a trade exhibition, industry forums, workshops, student activities and receptions.
