Regulatory T cells (Treg), defined by being T helper (Th) or CD4+ lymphocytes (green) and by expression of the FOXP3 marker (magenta), inhibit the anti-tumour response in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), creating exhaustion in other Th lymphocytes (green) and aiding tumour evasion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">This year&#8217;s calendar has been produced with the images submitted to the IDiBE Scientific Image Competition 2024.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">This image was obtained thanks to Joanna Pic\u00f3 Carrasco, from the laboratory of Jos\u00e9 Manuel Gonz\u00e1lez Navajas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are back and we hope that you have been able to gather strength during these holidays for an exciting 2025.
