{"id":21227,"date":"2025-03-25T10:15:30","date_gmt":"2025-03-25T10:15:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/idibe.umh.es\/?p=21227"},"modified":"2025-03-25T10:15:30","modified_gmt":"2025-03-25T10:15:30","slug":"biological-innovation-for-the-future-of-fashion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/idibe.umh.es\/en\/2025\/03\/25\/biological-innovation-for-the-future-of-fashion\/","title":{"rendered":"Biological innovation for the future of fashion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">From the Nanobiomaterials Group of IDiBE &#8211; UMH, led by Ricardo Mallavia, we joined the project Poseidonia oceanica, sustainability and Intelligence and Artifical (POSEIA) to research and develop new biological materials from natural resources such as Posidonia, abundant in the Mediterranean coast.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Our aim is to generate knowledge and look for strategies to reduce the dependence of the textile industry on fossil fuels, opting for a more sustainable and innovative fashion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Together with FP Aspasia, Centro De Formaci\u00f3n Del Medio Rural Don Benito, Escuela de Profesionales Alcazar\u00e9n by FPAspasia, FP Aspasia Cantabria Centro de Formaci\u00f3n Profesional and the company Solution Art\u00edculos Industriales, we seek to contribute to the training of people to achieve a sustainable future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Science, nature and technology for a greener future.
