Mart\u00ednez de Morentin from the School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Leeds<\/strong> (United Kingdom), who will be giving a talk entitled: <strong>&#8220;Brainstem circuits regulating ingestive behaviours&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Dr. Pablo specializes int he neurobiological mechanisms thar regulate energy balance, feeding behavior, and gut-brain communication. Since 2023, he has led his own research group, with one of the main lines of work focused on how gut-derived signals influence thalamic processing and decision-making related to food intake &#8212; particularly in contexts that promote obesity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"339\" data-end=\"708\">Dr. Pablo specializes in the neurobiological mechanisms that regulate energy balance, feeding behavior, and gut-brain communication.
