On the occasion of the World Day Against Pain<\/strong>, celebrated every October 17<\/strong> since 2004 by the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP)<\/strong>, the European Pain Federation (EFIC)<\/strong>, and the World Health Organization (WHO)<\/strong>, a special round table<\/strong> has been organized as part of the Neuroscience Institute (IN)<\/strong> seminar sessions.<\/p>\n

The event will bring together three leading researchers in the field of pain<\/strong>, including our director, Antonio Ferrer Montiel<\/strong>, from the Institute for Research, Development and Innovation in Healthcare Biotechnology of Elche (IDiBE-UMH)<\/strong>.
Thanks to their diverse professional backgrounds, the speakers will offer a comprehensive perspective<\/strong> on pain research \u2014 from basic science to translational and industrial applications<\/strong> \u2014 highlighting current advances and challenges<\/strong> in this area.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udc69\u200d\ud83d\udd2c\ud83d\udc68\u200d\ud83d\udd2c This session is especially aimed at pre-doctoral and post-doctoral researchers<\/strong>, encouraging them to actively participate by asking questions, sharing ideas, and reflecting on their future career paths in the field of pain neuroscience and therapeutic innovation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcac To encourage interaction, participants will be able to submit live or anonymous questions<\/strong> via the SLIDO<\/strong> app by scanning the QR code<\/strong> displayed during the session.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcdc A certificate of participation<\/strong> will be issued as proof of attendance for this training activity. To receive it, attendees must sign the attendance sheet<\/strong> at the entrance of the seminar room, indicating their full name.<\/p>\n
