Our researcher, Ana Mar\u00eda Fern\u00e1ndez Escamilla<\/strong><\/a>, participated in the 5th Conference of the Interdisciplinary Thematic Platform (PTI+) Global Health of the CSIC<\/strong>, held in Madrid on October 20\u201321<\/strong>. During the meeting, she presented her poster describing the work carried out on the molecular design of non-immunogenic inhibitors of the SARS-CoV-2 nsp14 and nsp16 proteins<\/strong>. This promising strategy, conceived as a combined antiviral therapy<\/strong>, has yielded such significant results that it has led to the registration of a patent<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the event, Margarita del Val<\/strong>, coordinator of the PTI+ Global Health, introduced the research groups currently involved in the platform, as well as the new groups and external institutions joining this multidisciplinary initiative \u2014 among them, the Protein Architecture Group<\/strong>, led by Ana Mar\u00eda Fern\u00e1ndez Escamilla at IDiBE.<\/p>\n

The participation of our researcher in this conference reinforces the group\u2019s commitment to collaborative research and knowledge transfer in the field of global health<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
