Alonso-Magdalena will explain in an accessible way how metabolic changes during pregnancy can influence the risk of developing <strong data-start=\"874\" data-end=\"893\">type 2 diabetes<\/strong> later in life \u2014 both for mothers and their children.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"950\" data-end=\"1163\">This event is part of the <strong data-start=\"976\" data-end=\"1020\">17th Science Week \u201c20 Years Ars Creatio\u201d<\/strong>, an annual celebration that brings together researchers and citizens to share curiosity, knowledge, and the
