Last weekend, November 8 and 9<\/strong>, the Bioactive Molecules Design and Development<\/strong> research group, led by Dr. Mar\u00eda Herranz L\u00f3pez<\/strong>, took part in the 17th Science Week of Torrevieja<\/strong>, organized by the cultural association Ars Creatio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Researchers Irene Pomares Bri<\/strong>, Ver\u00f3nica Ruiz Torres<\/strong>, and Marta Fern\u00e1ndez Oliver<\/strong> led the interactive workshop \u201cDiscover Your Metabolism: Technology and Health Against Obesity,\u201d<\/strong> which drew great interest from visitors of all ages.<\/p>\n Over the two days, participants were able to learn about their body composition<\/strong> \u2014including fat percentage, muscle mass, and metabolic age\u2014 using bioimpedance technology<\/strong>.
