Last Thursday, February 8th, we had a visit to the IDiBE – UMH from a group of researchers from the Norwegian Veterinary Institute in As, Norway, led by researcher Dr. Maria Dahle.
Dr. Maria Del Mar Ortega-Villaizan Romo’s group, including Dr. VERONICA CHICO GRAS and pre-doctoral researcher Maria Salvador, is participating in her project “RED FLAG: Salmonid red blood cells as sensors of stress and infection”, awarded by the Norwegian Research Council, 2020-2025, which aims to use salmon erythrocytes as sensors of stress and infection. The objective of his visit was to share the latest results and progress in his project.
