Last Friday, June 6th, we successfully held the 1st BioEmprende IDiBE Conference: Spin-off Creation and Professional Futures, an event that brought together over 30 attendees, primarily early-career researchers interested in scientific entrepreneurship and knowledge transfer.
Organized by the IDiBE Innovation Office, the aim of this conference was to bridge the gap between the academic and business worlds, promote new career pathways, and encourage the creation of spin-offs and start-ups capable of transforming science into real-world solutions with a positive societal impact.
Throughout the event, we had the valuable participation of experts from the UMH Science Park and researchers-turned-entrepreneurs, who shared practical insights and real-life experiences in the creation of biotechnology companies.
This initiative reflects our commitment to a research model focused on action and impact, where the knowledge generated at IDiBE contributes to improving quality of life, protecting the environment, and addressing today’s challenges through innovation.
A heartfelt thank you to all participants for making it possible!
