The Institute for Research, Development and Innovation in Health Biotechnology of Elche (IDiBE) at Miguel Hernández University announces the Doctoral Research Award in honor of Professor Amparo Estepa—researcher and Deputy Director of IDiBE. The aim of this award is to recognize the research and academic trajectory of the top student in the PhD Program in Health Biotechnology, overseen by IDiBE.
This award, consisting of a single financial contribution of €1,000, is intended for students enrolled in the doctoral program who are currently in their third year of thesis supervision and who have not yet submitted or defended their doctoral work.
Evaluation criteria will include participation in training activities within the program, research stays at other institutions, scientific communications and publications, patents, co-supervision of undergraduate and master’s theses (TFG/TFM), and other research-related activities.
The application deadline is 10 working days from the official publication in the DOGV (June 11, 2025). Applications must be submitted through the UMH Electronic Office or via other legally established channels.
The award will be presented during the IDiBE Open Day, which will take place on July 18, 2025.
