Next Friday, July 25, we are pleased to welcome Dr. Pablo B. Martínez de Morentin from the School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Leeds (United Kingdom), who will be giving a talk entitled: “Brainstem circuits regulating ingestive behaviours”.
Dr. Pablo specializes int he neurobiological mechanisms thar regulate energy balance, feeding behavior, and gut-brain communication. Since 2023, he has led his own research group, with one of the main lines of work focused on how gut-derived signals influence thalamic processing and decision-making related to food intake — particularly in contexts that promote obesity.
