🎶🔬 Science with Rhythm at the Santa Bárbara Castle!
Last Friday, our researcher Enrique Barrajón-Catalán took part in the #EUREKA: Music and Science event — a very special evening held at the iconic Santa Bárbara Castle in Alicante.
More than 200 people enjoyed an afternoon where science communication blended with live music. Among the speakers were José Luis Crespo (Quantum Fracture) and our colleague Enrique, who presented his work on circular economy and how to reduce waste by reusing rice straw — a brilliant example of sustainable innovation. 🌾
Hosted by Santi García Cremades, the event combined talks, humor, and rock and pop music, bringing science closer to the public in an entertaining and accessible way.
From IDiBE, we reaffirm our commitment to scientific outreach and to making research accessible to the whole society. 💡
We thank the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) for promoting initiatives like this one, and we congratulate Enrique Barrajón for his inspiring participation — a true source of pride for our institution! 👏
