Next Monday, December 15 at 11:30 a.m., the IDiBE will welcome Patricia Gómez-Suaga (ORCID: 0000-0002-2388-8327), a Ramón y Cajal researcher at the University of Extremadura, who will visit our center to present her research lines and scientific career. 👩🔬✨
Her seminar, “Mechanistic Insights into Neurodegeneration: ER–Mitochondria Signaling Hubs and Autophagy in ALS and Repeat-Expansion Diseases,” will offer an accessible and up-to-date look at how failures in ER–mitochondria communication and autophagy processes may contribute to diseases such as ALS/FTD. 🧬⚡
