Last Friday, the aid called by the International Center for Aging Research, Foundation of the Valencian Community (ICAR), programmed with one million euros, was resolved.
Four IDiBE groups have obtained funding for the development of their projects related to aging.
These projects will investigate the role of the endocrine pancreas in aging, the regulation of metabolic stress associated with aging through plant polyphenols, the development of SGK1 inhibitors as a brake on aging and neurodegeneration, and the use of nanocomposites as biosensing and drug delivery platforms for aging associated pathologies.
