The Antiviral Strategies in Aquaculture group of IDiBE – UMH has participated in the 1st Symposium on Algae 2024 (AS2024) organised by the Algal Biology and Biotechnology Group of the Spanish Society of Plant Biology (SEBP). The symposium took place at the CRAG Auditorium located on the campus of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain, on 13-14 May 2024.
Prof. Luis Perez García-Estañ and PhD student Ainhoa Gómez presented their work on the current project on the generation of vaccines in microalgae directed by himself and Prof. Maria Del Mar Ortega-Villaizan Romo). D. student Yeray Kevin Cerpa Damas, who presented the first advances in protein production in microalgae and the results of the first trials in fish.
