On December 3rd, we held the 1st Workshop: “Immunology, Nutrition, and Wellbeing in Aquaculture,” organized by María Del Mar Ortega-Villaizán Romo and Verónica Chico Gras. The event featured contributions from researchers such as Byron Morales Lange, Jose Carlos Campos Sánchez, Elena Chaves Pozo, Celia García Quintanilla, Adrián López Murcia, and Yeray Kevin Cerpa Damas, among others.
The workshop covered topics ranging from immunonutrition and the use of plant extracts in aquaculture feed to other immunological aspects and vaccine development against significant fish viruses.
This workshop was partially funded by the AIEFFI 2024 Grant from the Miguel Hernández University of Elche for IDIBE and the project GVA-THINKINAZUL/2021/020.
