Our research group, led by Dr. Maria Del Mar Ortega-Villaizan Romo, has carried out a medium-scale trial at the ITACyL facilities, where different antiviral treatments were evaluated in sea bass against nodavirus.
This exciting study is part of the project GVA-THINKINAZUL/2021/020 NaturAcuiVir, which aims to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to strengthen fish health and enhance the competitiveness of the aquaculture sector.
Trials like this bring us closer to new strategies for the prevention and control of diseases that affect species of great economic and social importance.
