🔬 A New Alliance to Advance Health Through Biotechnology 💊

A few weeks ago, we announced the creation of the Joint Unit in Health Biotechnology (UMH–CSIC) — a collaboration between the Institute for Research, Development and Innovation in Healthcare Biotechnology of Elche (IDiBE–UMH) and the Institute of Medicinal Chemistry (IQM–CSIC).

Today, we’re excited to share a video that captures the spirit of this collaboration and the words of our director,  Antonio Ferrer Montiel, highlighting the scientific and social value of partnerships like this one. 🎥

This joint unit brings together the best of both worlds:
🧪 The IQM–CSIC’s expertise in designing and developing therapeutic molecules.
🧬 The IDiBE–UMH’s contribution through disease models and biomedical research.

💡 The result? A synergy that will accelerate the discovery of new drugs to combat major health challenges such as peripheral neuropathies, cancer, and diabetes.

Through this collaboration, all IDiBE research lines will benefit — driving scientific progress, innovation, and a lasting positive impact on health and well-being. 🌍❤️
