✨ Great news for health research! ✨
We are excited to share that a project led by our director, Professor Antonio Ferrer Montiel (Miguel Hernández University), has been selected in the prestigious 2025 Health Research Call by the ”la Caixa” Foundation.
This project, developed in collaboration with Dr. Víctor Soto Insuga from the Niño Jesús University Children’s Hospital, stood out among 714 proposals and will receive €797,525 in funding. Its goal: to advance new personalized therapeutic strategies for developmental and epileptic encephalopathy (DEE), a severe neurological disease that affects children from very early ages.
