The Shimadzu UV-2700 is a high-resolution, high-absorbance UV-Visible spectrophotometer designed to perform extremely precise measurements, even on samples with very high absorbance values (-8 to +8 Abs).

This instrument features a double-beam optical system with a Czerny-Turner monochromator, ensuring long-term stability and high accuracy, and uses a deuterium lamp (UV) and a tungsten-halogen lamp (Vis).

The Shimadzu UV-2700 offers a spectral range of 185–900 nm with a resolution of up to 0.1 nm. The bandwidth is variable (0.1 / 0.2 / 0.5 / 1 / 2 / 5 nm) and can be configured according to analytical requirements.
