On March 2, the BioSouth 2024 meeting was held at the Miguel Hernández University. This meeting, organized by FEBiotec, the Spanish Federation of Biotechnologists, brings together young students or professionals in biotechnology on an annual basis.
For the programming they had a talk on knowledge translation by our director Antonio Ferrer Montiel, the case of one of our spinoffs PROSPERA BIOTECH, whose CEO Marta García Escolano, PhD explained what this company does and what its trajectory has been, as well as a face-to-face talk between Enrique Barrajón-Catalán and CIAGRO-UMH researcher Raquel Lucas González about nutraceuticals. Finally, our innovation agent Gabriel Estañ Cerezo gave a workshop on entrepreneurship in biotechnology.
From IDiBE – UMH it was a pleasure to collaborate in this event. We think it was very positive, we would like to congratulate the people of the organization for their success and we wish them luck with the next editions.
