Today, 25 April, is World DNA Day! The aim is to commemorate the discovery of the double helix structure of DNA, as one of the scientific discoveries with the greatest impact on humanity.

At IDiBE – UMH we want to highlight the importance of this fundamental molecule in life and scientific research. At our centre, we are committed to the study and understanding of DNA, exploring its mysteries and applications in various areas, from medicine to biotechnology.

On the occasion of this day, we want to highlight the work done by Pablo Garcia Valtanen to investigate DNA vaccines against different pathologies. To better understand what Pablo does, you can watch this talk he gave last year at the Innova Summit of ISABIAL, Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria y Biomédica de Alicante.
