The Institute for Research, Development and Innovation in Health Biotechnology of Elche (IDiBE) of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche has organized a new Science day with tapas for Tuesday, September 26 at 6:00 p.m. at the Pynchon&Co bookstore, Alicante. This edition is part of the initiative in which the UMH participates, Science Goes To School (Science GTS), of the European Night of Women Researchers. The title is “From sea to plate: responsible consumption of seafood.” The invited speakers are Dr. Pablo Sánchez Jerez, Professor of the Department of Marine Sciences and Applied Biology of the University of Alicante and Dr. Luis Pérez García-Estañ, researcher at IDiBE and professor of the Area of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the UMH.
The informative activity of Science with tapas is carried out approximately every two months and consists of an informal talk-colloquium on a current scientific topic while having some tapas in a restaurant. Entry will be limited to the capacity of the room.
