HUMANISE

Human microphysiological systems (HUMANISE) is a platform that brings together know-how and technology for the preparation of human innervated organs-on-chips as in vitro preclinical models for the study of the pathophysiological mechanisms of human diseases, and for testing bioactive molecules to assess their therapeutic activity and/or toxicity. Human microphysiological systems reduce the use of experimental animals and increase the clinical translation of the results.
